After The Fall by Eric Tinsay Valles
Inspired by a line from a poem in the book entitled Canticle for Three Young Poets that ends with "...the vigor of poppies in a vase", the cover design uses a visual pun. A symbol of war, the stalks of poppies rest in a vase that echoes the shape of the tombstones in the background.
