Tasteful Spaces is the anchor showcase of this campaign. Four structures made of PVC pipes were created to fill the Great Hall space. In the same spirit of design in the everyday – this simple, cost-effective material was chosen to create the structures for our design collaborators.

Design collaborators were then invited to intepret familiar local Singaporean dishes into experiential spaces for the public to enjoy.

Restful Kuehs is a lounge space by Desinere, inspired by the colourful Nonya kuehs. The intricate wooden lamps inspired by ang ku kuehs was a delightful touch.
Flourishing Chilli Crab was reintepreted by floral artist, Triceratops as a flower installation with a delightful addition of dried chili among the dried flowers.
Lucky Rojak – by interior design agency LAANK, used a wide variety of laminates to create a playful installation, symbolic of the eclectic dish.
Novel Lemak is furnished by Grafunkt – using curated furniture inspired by the well-loved dish.
A customised visual language is applied across all touchpoints. The graphic system uses a bold combination of red, blue and gradients.

A handy campaign guide was put together to lead visitors through the trail.

A series of programming were also developed specially for the campaign, with workshops and talks centered around the same theme of food and design.
